Screens become blinded and many times cannot be cleaned with water and need operator intervention into unpleasant places to remove the debris. They never perform the way they are supposed to. The design around a screen’s headloss will always dictate the size of the channel, screen and orifices. Everyone always wishes they could screen more finely to prevent more debris from entering their plant. We listened to our customers and have come up with a product that can be retrofitted into almost any screen.
Our design is nothing short of revolutionary. Instead of flat panel, perforated plate
screening which blinds with debris, our patent pending, elevated bars provide first-stage
coarse screening. This allows debris to be suspended above our proprietary
orifices and allows water to pass under the debris. This reduces velocities, and
increases capture of debris and screen capacity.
